In the context of an all too familiar classroom gun hostage scenario, we are thrust into a jarring reality check of what it's like being a teen in urban America. Though you may initially root for the obvious protagonist(s), the deeper reflection is do you demonize or humanize the "apparent antagonist"? ...

CHIIILE! This sexy show will allure you right from the start. But don't get wrapped up in that too tough. This story will have you re-evaluating your whole life. (Cue "What You Won't Do For Love by Bobby Caldwell here:-). This is truly a grown folx show in every way. Matt wrote his tail off for this play. The casting was on point visually and they worked their roles with the passion and sensual elegance of two professional rumba dancers. This is most def a couples convo starter here. Cop tix...

The dynamic Lara strategically woos you in with her sweet/coy allure a la Tinkerbell style in the beginning. It starts off with girl next door, middle class Christian foundation. You know, most of us bought into the princess in waiting Disney package... Then she rips the "holy veil" off in her exploration of young adulthood. Lara is a superb actress with an extremely important message that must be heard. I highly recommend bringing your teenage girls to this, to hear "the cool older cousin" scho...

This is REAL LIFE. An unlikely encounter between strangers that turns out to be just what both of them needed. The healing you need is not convenient and shows up at the damnedest time. I feel like Nas's "All I Need Is One Mic" is appropriate here because the setting is simple but the writing and performance hit hard like sweet 16 bars. School is in session and I'm here to learn! GO SEE THIS! As a matter of fact, whenever Jessica puts out anything, I'm copping a ticket coz this show exhibits the ...

A witty take on this age old issue that women have to dim our light and falsely represent ourselves, in order to massage the male ego. Stacy's show demonstrates how ridiculous we all look when we buy into this lie. The scenarios are a perfect combo of humiliating and hilarious....

YOU CAN OVERCOME! This show is a testament to the power of GOD and human will to triumph over abandonment and one of the toughest addictions on the planet. You will also understand how essential family is, that it is where you make it. You will learn that familial bonds are established within the drug culture, where addicts feel loved, supported, and celebrated.
