THE RIDE is a tale about struggling to reconcile seemingly conflicting identities: Gay, Arab, and Muslim. After being outed publicly in the LA Times, Ramy’s relationship with his family becomes strained as does his faith in God, sending him down a dark hole where he loses touch with his true self.

These three original pieces were written, directed, and performed by recent graduates of the Art of Acting Studio Professional Conservatory. Developed in 2018 as a classroom project, each is an artistic and creative exploration of the life of a notable person throughout history.

Set against the backdrops of the Vietnam War, World War II and the Korean War, Beyond Glory tells the stirring, emotional, and heroic true stories of eight recipients of America’s highest military award, the Medal of Honor.

Comedy Hoe is a one woman show written and performed by comedian Jil Chrissie featuring comic Angelica Mackey. This bold performance weaves fictional storytelling with standup comedy and comedic spoken word to address the adversity and hyper-sexualization that women face in America daily.
